Behind-the-Wheel Parent-Taught Driving Lessons for Teens
If you’re enrolled in the Texas Parent-Taught Driver Education Program or prefer private instruction, our behind-the-wheel lessons offer the hands-on experience you need to become a safe and confident driver. Each session is taught by a certified instructor and follows the requirements set by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Choose the number of hours that fits your experience level:
- 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours
- Available for both parent-taught and private students
- Up to 2 lessons per week
- Lessons available by appointment, 7 days a week
- Basic vehicle controls
- Turning and lane changes
- Residential and city driving
- Handling intersections
- 2-point and 3-point turns
- Parking skills (parallel and lot)
- Highway/freeway driving (based on student readiness and safety)
- Driving road test preparation
- Valid Texas learner’s permit
- Ages 15–17 (minor students)
- Driving road test
- Pickup & dropoff service
- Use our vehicle for your official road test

Texas Teen 14HR In-Person Driving Lesson
Includes 7 Hours Behind-the-Wheel + 7 Hours In-Car Observation
This all-inclusive course fulfills the complete in-car training requirements set by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). It’s ideal for teens completing their driver education—whether starting fresh or transferring from another licensed Texas driving school.
We welcome transfer students from other driving schools. (See transfer requirements for details.)
- 7 Hours Behind-the-Wheel Instruction - Hands-on driving experience with a certified instructor in real traffic situations.
- 7 Hours In-Car Observation - Observe another student’s lesson to learn safe driving habits and receive real-time feedback.
- Basic vehicle controls

- City streets and intersections
- 2-point and 3-point turns
- Highway/freeway driving (based on student readiness)
- Parallel and parking lot parking
- Road test preparation for the Texas driving exam
- Valid Texas learner’s permit
